At India International School, security is a top priority. To ensure a safe and secure learning environment, we implement comprehensive surveillance and security systems that enhance control and contribute to a high-quality learning atmosphere. Our campus is protected by high boundary walls, a fire-fighting system, and well-trained security guards who patrol the area. Every corner of the school is monitored by state-of-the-art CCTV cameras. We have established procedures and standards to ensure the safety and well-being of all students, covering areas such as pick-up and drop-off, visitor management, and equipment and furniture safety. These protocols are regularly reviewed and updated to incorporate the latest safety and security technology.
Pick-up and Drop-off
Each child must be checked in and out daily. Attendance is recorded in the morning, and all students are required to wear an identity card. If a child forgets their card or needs to leave early, a gate pass is issued. During pick-up, the child is released only after verifying the escort card. If the collection card is forgotten, a gate pass must be obtained. No child is released to an adult without proper authorization and identification.
Medical Standards
Parents must periodically update their child’s medical records. We maintain comprehensive medical records, including immunizations and physical examinations, and are informed of any relevant health histories such as allergies or chronic conditions. All health records, immunization details, and emergency contacts are kept current and accessible in emergencies. If a child is unwell, they are sent home, and any injuries are treated in the infirmary, with parents notified by the teacher.
Cleaning and Disinfecting
Our staff ensures that surfaces frequently contacted by children are thoroughly cleaned. We follow prescribed methods for disinfecting surfaces, including bathrooms, and clean and disinfect toys between uses.
